Looking back over the 2009, it’s been pretty a incredible year. I finally recorded a full-length album, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I quit all my jobs, threw in all the money I had and didn’t have, and pursued and achieved my biggest dream to date. It’s been one leap after another following its release 8 successful CD release Parties, a AAA radio campaign and lots of in-studio radio visits. I’ve been busily touring through New England and to the south, and building my amazing band,
All Kinds of Sugar, too.

I’m truly grateful for everyone who’s helped me along my way by booking me at great venues, opening for them or the amazing bands they represent. I’m grateful for all of the national and local radio DJs who’ve reached out and supported, ‘The Only Way Out is Through.’ I’m grateful to loved ones for letting me follow my dreams, and helping me in any way they can. I’m grateful to my fans for coming out to shows, buying CDs, bringing friends, and spreading the word. I’m grateful to the amazing musicians I play with, who believe in me, record my music, and who help me bring out
the true shapes, colors, textures and forms of my songs.
I’m very excited for 2010.

- DJ Shiha, Nii and Sarah Blacker are working on a new dance track. Check out ‘Am Alive,’ their first track whose remix by Martin Roth topped the dance charts in 2009, on the music page
- SB will be heading into the studio in the early spring to record a new album to be released fall of 2010
