The EP features my touring partner, Eran Shaysh on percussion and vocals, and lil’ ‘ole me on guitar, ukulele and vocals of course! I wrote the songs, it was recorded by Daniel DP Perry, and mixed by Sean McLaughlin of 37′ Productions (my bassist!)

Last weekend, I performed on the stage of my home-town highschool which was built in 1938, and is about to be torn down! It was a magical night, and a video was made to commemorate the evening, featuring my song, ‘When I Was New.’

I got an awesome LED light-changing trophy that took about 1 hour and 4 people to set up once we returned from tour…! At least it didn’t break in our new tour Prius, James.

Tri-State Indie wrote about the festival, “Sarah Blacker is a star.  Never heard of her?  Listen once and you will never forget her.  She received the MyRuralRadio Artist of the Year Award that night and played an achingly beautiful set.  She writes poignant songs that speak simply and honestly and wow, can she strum a guitar.” thanks guys!
